Lara Warn

Meet Lara Warn! Lara is the owner & proprietor of Pup Active, a local apparel line for people that love dogs! Lara was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan & moved to Florida after high school. An FSU Alumni, Lara moved to St. Pete in 2002. After a stint in corporate America, Lara founded Pup Active: a pet sitting & dog walking business. That evolved into the apparel line she has now. She drew her inspiration for her business from her pup Charlie who sadly, passed away last year. Each clothing carries his paw print & his spirit!

When asked why she likes DTSP so much, Lara remarked “St. Pete has that entrepreneur vibe. Downtown is so authentic & is such a hub for so many things going on in our community. I love it here!”

Thanks for sitting down with me Lara!

Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in DTSP, and what do you love there?

A: “My current favorite casual is Poppo’s Taqueria. They started in Bradenton but recently opened but their St. Pete spot. They serve tacos & burritos and I’ll go on a Poppo’s bender for days at a time. I love it there. Brick & Mortar is my favorite for more formal/upscale dinning. Those two are my current favorite. St. Pete is killing it with the food scene! It’s exciting! ”
